Simply put, Phi Delta Theta enabled me to dream larger than I ever thought imaginable. You will become the greatest version of yourself with self-confidence and self-pride. You will know that once you are done with college that Phi Delta Theta goes far beyond you college years. You will not regret it. You will enjoy it. My membership in Phi Delta Theta played a pivotal role in my leadership development.

Through the Fraternity, I learned the necessary skills to be successful in job interviews. I was able to bolster my resume with various projects, including community service, that prepared me for a job after graduation. The student leaders that emerge from Phi Delta Theta are effective, thoughtful and well-mannered. This Fraternity enabled me to apply skills learned in class and at fraternity leadership conferences as a chapter leader and in real-world situations. My brothers helped to bring out the greatest version of myself.

Each Phi Delt inherits an organization that has a strong reputation for bold leadership, innovative thinking and an experience that has truly made good men great. This experience allows men to exceed their individual potential and in turn enhance our great Fraternity. The friendships that I have forged within Phi Delta Theta are friendships that will be with me for the rest of my life. I have made friends from Georgia to California and most places in between because of Phi Delta Theta. Joining Phi Delt has easily been one of the best decisions, if not THE best decision, I've made during my college experience.

Unlike any other fraternity, Phi Delta Theta is committed to making a leader out of every man that walks through its doors. Phi Delta Theta has helped me strive to be the best I can be. Through Phi Delta Theta, I have succeeded academically, socially, and in leadership roles during my time in college.

The chapter at Miami was the Grand Chapter until the outbreak of the War. The Ohio Alpha became so large that, in , a second chapter Was instituted in the same college. It was affiliated with the Alpha four years later. Ohio Gamma lasted for a very short time. Indiana Beta was sub rosa for a number of years. The Tennessee Alpha was never well organized, and its records were lost during the war.
